It seems to me as if HEW starts a commandline based builder that in turn calls conspawn. I have no idea if it runs under XP, as I don't have that Windoze version.

Dont bother to run HEW yet as it has no tools to work with. They are quite cool and very cheap.

I expect that too will cause a few problems with some of my old hardware and software, but after 28 years of using Windoze, I expect to be able to solve them a lot more easily than with complex and clumsy Linux. HEW - the Renesas High Performance Embedded Workshop
